Stock Photographs (images)  may be used for promoting articles or services on a website, or to illustrate  in a book or flyer’s.
Stock Photography is used to fulfil the needs of creative assignments instead of hiring (commissioning) a photographer to run off unique images which are typically standard and common place. Today, stock images can be presented in researchable on-line databases. They can be purchased and delivered on-line making the transaction faster.

Grafixphoto is not like any other stock photography business with endless photographers  dumping there images on-line which you have to search through loads of rubbish to find what you want. Our Approach is to allow you to give us a clear idea of what you are looking for and then we ask our members to tender to you to supply that image, effectively we middle manage the tender to save you time.

We offer mostly photographs that have been shot by professional photographers. There are amateur and professional photographers on offer if we feel that the standards warrant a mention and promotion.

With Rights Managed stock photography an individual licensing agreement is negotiated for each use.
Royalty-free stock photography offers a photo buyer the ability to use an image in an unlimited number of ways for a single license fee.
As the client may,  request “exclusive” rights, preventing other customers from using the same image for a specified length of time or in the same industry. This is a costly option, both because they tend to be high-exposure and because the agency is gambling that the image would not have made more money had it remained in circulation; with royalty free licensing however there is no option for getting exclusive usage rights.

Commissioning a photographer  is for a set purpose and defined within the roll that they need to undertake in a agreed level with the client, this may offer some limitations to both the client and the photographer.
Stock photography may seem  like a commission, but this is not the case; photographers may have images already within their stock library and therefore  only reproduce the image for usage. A commissioned photographer will  take the images for you and with your brief in mind.
An example of  Stock photography may be  an image of food, this may be used for advertising a brand product.
A example of a Commission would be that the photographer would work on a set of images to promote your brand and products and may accomplish a full set of images which are made available to you.
